Over the years we have accepted used motor oil for proper disposal from do-it-yourselfer's that change their own oil at home. After studying information from the EPA we know that used oil is a problem for landfills and our water supply. We do not carry used or recycled oil for the services we provide, but we assure that used oil is properly disposed of.
One gallon of used motor oil (the amount usually drained from one car) can contaminate ONE MILLION gallons of water. Dirty motor oil thrown into the trash at home leaks from landfills into our underground water supplies.
Some communities have adopted our "Help Save The World" program. They direct people with used oil to our shops for safe and proper oil disposal, since they do not have the proper means of collecting and storing it.
